1. Welcome to Focus2.me
Focus2.me is a social connection platform that lets you claim a short personal handle (@you), build a public profile, and exchange structured Intro Cards with other people. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
2. Who can use Focus2.me
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You confirm this by providing your date of birth at sign-up. Accounts found to belong to someone under 18 will be removed.
3. Your account
- You're responsible for the email, password, and handle you choose.
- Keep your password private — anyone with it can sign in as you.
- One person, one account. Don't impersonate other people, brands, or organisations.
- Your handle (@you) is yours while your account is active. If you delete the account, the handle is released back to the pool.
4. Acceptable use
Focus2.me only works if people feel safe. You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, defame, or stalk other users.
- Post or share content that is sexual involving minors, violent, hateful, or illegal.
- Send spam, scams, phishing links, or unsolicited commercial messages.
- Try to break, probe, scrape, or overload the service or its APIs.
- Misuse the Intro Card system to disguise harassment or unwanted contact.
- Upload someone else's identity documents during age verification.
We may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access at our discretion to protect the community. Repeated or severe violations result in a permanent ban.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post (profile, bio, Intro Card details, photos). By posting it on Focus2.me, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store, and back it up purely so the service can function. We don't sell your content or use it for advertising training.
6. Age verification & the Verified 18+ badge
Age verification is currently optional and used as a trust signal. If you submit a government-issued ID, an admin reviews it manually; once a decision is made, the ID image is deleted immediately. Only a status (approved / rejected) and an audit log are kept. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.
7. Merch & purchases
The Shop sells branded merchandise (printed via our fulfilment partner). Pricing, shipping, returns, and product quality are governed by the partner's terms, displayed at checkout. We don't process or store your card details ourselves.
8. Disclaimers
Focus2.me is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep the service running, accurate, and safe, but we don't guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service.
- That other users are who they say they are (even with a Verified 18+ badge — verification confirms age, not character).
- Specific outcomes from connections made on the platform.
Meeting people you've only spoken to online carries real-world risk. Use your judgement, meet in public, and tell someone where you're going.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Focus2.me and its team aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you, for any reason, won't exceed the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months (which may be zero).
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account anytime from your profile. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. After deletion, your public profile and your handle are removed; some backups and audit logs (e.g. age-verification audit) may persist for a limited time for legal and security purposes.
11. Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms in a material way, we'll show you the updated version next time you sign in. Continuing to use Focus2.me after that means you accept the changes.
